Job summary

Coherix, based in Ann Arbor, MI, seeks an IT Specialist to lead our IT infrastructure, including Office 365, Hyper-V, Veeam backups, and phone systems. You will support end users, manage incidents, and drive reliable, secure IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
• Expertise in Office 365 administration and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with Veeam backup solutions.
• Knowledge of phone systems and telecom technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Microsoft Office 365 Administration: manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Hyper-V Virtualization: deploy, configure, and maintain VMs; optimize resources.
• Veeam Backup: implement and manage backup/recovery; test procedures.
• Phone System Management: administer and maintain the organization’s phone system.
• Help Desk Operations: be the primary IT support contact and resolve issues.
• End User Support: train and assist end-users on IT systems and applications.
• Security & Compliance: enforce IT security measures and regulatory compliance.
• Budgeting & Procurement: manage IT budget and procure hardware/software.
