Job summary

Public Strategies seeks an IT Specialist to install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, providing expert support to system users. You will manage Microsoft 365/Active Directory, onboard new hires, and assist with networking, Windows servers, and AV systems.

A customer-service mindset and proactive problem solving are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and 3+ years of IT experience, with strong knowledge of O365 and Azure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

Deploy, monitor, maintain, update, and support IT systems including hardware, software, and peripherals.
Create users, groups, teams, shared mailboxes, and resource mailboxes using Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
Oversee new hire IT onboarding including computer imaging and user training.
Provide end-user support via phone, email, in-person, and online.
Maintain asset management for IT assets.
Assist with helpdesk/desktop support and hardware installations.
Assist Senior IT Team with networking hardware installation and maintenance.
Assist with Windows servers installation and maintenance.
Assist with Windows Deployment Services and computer imaging software.
Support Audio/Video systems in-person and remotely.
Procure hardware/software to satisfy user requirements.
