Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated IT Specialist to be the primary contributor managing our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will not only possess technical expertise in Microsoft Office 365 administration, Hyper-V virtualization, Veeam backup solutions, and phone systems, but also bring a great attitude and a strong commitment to doing whatever is necessary to support the team and end users. This role requires a proactive individual who can both strategically plan and actively implement and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Microsoft Office 365 Administration:
• Manage and administer Microsoft Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Ensure seamless integration and compatibility of Office 365 applications within the organization.
• Hyper-V Virtualization:
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines using Hyper-V.
• Optimize virtualization infrastructure for efficiency and resource utilization.
• Veeam Backup:
• Implement and manage Veeam backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Regularly test and update backup procedures to mitigate data loss risks.
• Phone System Management:
• Administer and maintain the organization's phone system, ensuring reliable communication channels.
• Collaborate with vendors to implement updates, upgrades, and troubleshoot issues.
• Help Desk Operations:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support, resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and enforce best practices for incident management and service request fulfillment.
• End User Support:
• Provide support and training to end-users on IT systems and applications.
• Proactively address end-user concerns, working to improve user experience and satisfaction.
