Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for staff and students. You will set up, maintain and troubleshoot IT systems, and resolve Tier 2 Zendesk tickets with escalation as needed.

You will configure hardware/software, image deployment, and deliver training on system revisions. You will coordinate with the Center Property Officer to ensure equipment is managed and maintained, delivering reliable, user-focused IT services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years direct experience working with Windows 10, MS Office, Computer Hardware, Networking and TCP/IP Connectivity preferred.
• Citrix and Cisco VoIP experience a plus.
• Good problem solving, analytical and team-working skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary staff tasked with system set-up, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of IT systems for staff and students on Center.
• Provides technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware and software.
• Is the secondary IT staff responsible for resolving Tier 2 IT support tickets in Zendesk and upscaling to Tier 3 as needed.
• Downloads and maintains latest system images provided by JCDC for system configuration.
• Assists in conducting bi-weekly walkthroughs of classrooms and computer labs and reports status of equipment.
