Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking an IT Specialist at the Glenmont Job Corps Center to provide Tier 1–2 support for Windows desktop environments, labs, and network/telephone systems. You will support projects, ensure security, and collaborate with Corporate IT to advance the computing environment.

You will supervise IT staff and student workers when needed, while maintaining high customer service standards for staff and students. Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00 schedule and on-site work location.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in security, student services, or supervision (Job Corps or similar setting preferred).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for youth development and creating a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provides computer support in accordance with US Dept of Labor, Job Corps Center, and SOPs.
• Maintains confidentiality of data per FERPA guidelines.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems for Windows computers, printers, mobile devices, and phones.
• Track, respond to, resolve and document solutions to customer requests using help desk software.
• Communicate status of issues to end users in the help desk system.
• Provide technical assistance for projects as assigned by Corporate IT and/or the F&A Director.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and related documentation for devices and telephony.
• Provide functional software training for Center staff and students.
• Perform miscellaneous office duties and other duties as assigned.
