Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking an IT Systems & Network Specialist to join our IT team. This hands‑on role supports end users and maintains our network, workstations, and wireless infrastructure across facilities.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of experience, strong Windows/Office skills, and a customer‑focused mindset. Responsibilities include helpdesk support, network administration, Active Directory, and collaboration with IT staff.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands‑on IT experience.
• Experience providing end‑user technical support and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with VLANs, IP addressing, and subnetting.
• Experience with Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration.
• Strong problem‑solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical employees.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work independently when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and professional technical support to employees through helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and direct support.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, workstation, connectivity, and user‑access issues.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain computers, laptops, peripherals, and other end‑user devices.
• Assist users with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, email, and other business applications.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and the user experience.
