Job summary

SKG Consulting's client seeks a self-motivated network/systems specialist for NOC support and field service across multi-platform environments. You will engage in design, development and implementation of new projects, systems integration, and complex network setup in a hospitality setting.

The role requires hands-on technical skills to deliver high-level services, troubleshoot routing, datacenter design, latency issues, and equipment failures, with a 5+ year MSP/IT background and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years MSP/IT or equivalent experience.
• Certifications preferred: CCIE, Avaya or Mitel, Ruckus, Microsoft.
• Strong hands-on technical and network troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architecture/design, implementation & administration of data/VoIP networks.
• Administer existing routing & switching technologies & platforms.
• Analyze network performance & plan necessary enhancements.
• Voice & Wi-Fi gateway setup and maintenance.

Summary

Our client is looking for a self-motivated and self-sufficient network/systems specialist with social skills and eagerness to work & learn. This job will encompass NOC Network support, as well as field service on multi-platform integrated environments. You will have the opportunity to get involved in and learn about design, development and implementation of new projects, system integration, and complex network setup. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, not afraid of hard work, and is willing to do all it takes to ensure client satisfaction. This position stipulates strong hands-on technical skills to provide high-level technical services and strategy in a fast paced, multi-faceted and growing hospitality environment. Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting technology related problems that might include routing, datacenter design, intermittent packet loss, latency issues, system connectivity, and equipment failure is a must. Must have at least 5 years MSP/IT or similar experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in architecture/design, implementation & administration of data/VoIP networks.

• Isolate and resolve network related service problems, diagnose and correct problems resulting from component failure.
• Establish and Implement network management policies and guidelines to ensure the maximum availability of the client networks.
• Understand hardware and software capacities in order to modify or enhance high-quality network system infrastructure.
• Stay abreast of industry trends in order to proactively identify areas for growth, improvement, and development with the capability to implement industry best practices.
• Hands on experience and understanding of Microsoft Server setup and administration.

Education

• Bachelor's degree is in Computer Science or Information Systems is required.
• Certifications preferred: CCIE, Avaya or Mitel, Ruckus, Microsoft.
