Job summary

Germanna Community College, part of the Virginia Community College System, seeks an IT System Analyst to analyze business requirements and design and develop IT solutions across multiple platforms. The role covers enterprise technology administration, curriculum data management, and academic systems development, including testing, documentation, user training, and complex support for SIS, HCM, and AIS.

Qualifications

• Experience with PeopleSoft or a similar ERP platform.
• Experience designing and developing IT systems in a multi‑platform environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational databases.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and design suitable technical solutions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with users and create documentation, training materials, and troubleshooting steps.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt, and collaborate to complete complex projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain college curriculum and academic support systems with Registrar and Instruction staff.
• Provide system administration for enterprise applications, interfacing with VCCS and vendors on complex configurations.
• Offer user support and problem resolution for enterprise applications; document supported systems.
