Job summary

Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, VA seeks an IT System Analyst to design IT solutions for a multi‑platform environment, covering enterprise system administration and curriculum data management.

The role supports SIS, HCM and AIS, develops and tests solutions, documents processes, and trains users. Regular on-site attendance is expected; telework is available for designated tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft) or similar platform.
• Design and development of IT systems in a multi‑platform environment.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server development or similar databases.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and design technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and training.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with others to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain college curriculum and academic data systems in coordination with staff.
• Provide system administration for enterprise applications and interface with vendors.
• Offer user support and document solutions for complex issues in enterprise apps.
• Represent the College in enterprise application development and testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
