Job summary

Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service is seeking an IT Specialist to monitor and support our IT operations in Cobb County, Marietta, GA. The role partners with the IT Director to keep hardware and software running smoothly and to drive productivity through effective technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in CS or two years related field experience, plus hands-on end-user support and familiarity with Active Directory, Windows 10/11, and information

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in CS or two years related field experience.
• Hands-on end-user support and troubleshooting (1 year).
• User administration, desktop configuration and basic hardware understanding (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Director to ensure all hardware and software is fully operational at all times.
• Provide technical assistance in computer usage to aid personnel in the execution of their roles.
• Install and/or supervise installation of computer systems and equipment needed.
• Install, update, and/or modify approved software per users requests and/or needs.
• Troubleshoot computer related problems.
• Assist in the repair of terminals, laptops, printers, modems, and other computer related equipment.
• Monitor security measures with company computers and its data.
• Assist IT Director with on-line program development designed to significantly improve company productivity.
• Provide technical input to allow for and promote corporate growth and profitability.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Responsible for providing assistance with training of personnel on computer equipment, new software programs.
