Job summary

Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, Georgia, is seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization. You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems while delivering strong customer service to staff.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in IT or related field, or 5+ years of IT/help desk experience, with knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ITSM tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in IT/Help Desk/Desktop Support; or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS or related field and industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, ITIL).
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management, and ITSM/ticketing systems; healthcare environment experience is a plus.
