Job summary

Radiant Systems Inc. is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist in Austin, TX to provide day-to-day technical assistance for hardware and software. You will support Windows and MacOS, Office apps, and SharePoint, while maintaining security and asset inventories.

Responsibilities include managing licenses, rolling out new systems, supporting network/telephony gear, and assisting data-center operations. Excellent English and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficient with Windows and MacOS operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, OneNote, OneDrive and SharePoint are a plus.
• Strong documentation skills for troubleshooting steps and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to local and remote employees for hardware and software issues.
• On-site support in the Austin, TX office, five days a week.
• Assist with asset management, inventory, and rolling out new systems to users/teams.
• Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for desktops.
• Support network equipment, phones and teleconference tools.
• Assist in the data center and computer room operations.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
• Occasional travel to the additional Austin office for support.
