Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Engineering Technology Services team in Hitchcock Hall seeks a Systems Manager to provide tier 1 and 2 IT computing support for faculty, staff, students and labs across the College of Engineering. You will resolve issues, deploy images, manage accounts and assist with inventory and documentation.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2–4 years of supported OS experience are required; familiarity with ITIL, ticketing systems, and software like

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years’ experience in supporting Microsoft Windows clients and/or Apple clients, peripherals, and their connectivity in a networked environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and help desk ticketing systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1 and 2 IT computing support for faculty, staff, students, researchers and computing labs.
• Deploy images and software applications; create accounts and manage asset inventory.
• Document solutions and provide guidance to less experienced staff while meeting SLAs.
