Job summary

Charter Casting Woodstock: IT Support Technician Intern is responsible for setting up new computers, configuring handheld scanners and printers, and resolving employee tech issues through our ticketing system. You will support end-user IT tasks, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and document/improve processes.

The program runs part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) in the summer, located in Woodstock, IL, starting January 2027.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in Information Technology, MIS, CS, or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to succeed in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The entry hourly rate for this position is $24.25 per hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on year of study in school. Internship positions are not benefits-eligible.
