Job summary

Charter Wire in Milwaukee, WI offers a Supply Chain Internship starting January 2027. You will support production planning, scheduling, and inventory management across multiple manufacturing assets, balancing demand, priorities, material availability, and capacity constraints.

The program is part-time (15–20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) in the summer. Enrolled in a four-year degree with sophomore status, 2.75+ GPA, and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field with current status at least sophomore level.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production performance, capacity utilization, inventory levels and raw material availability to optimize schedules.
  • Assist with raw material procurement activities and manage inventory supporting the manufacturing process.
  • Perform routine inventory audits to validate system accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Procurement and Planning teams with ad hoc projects and data analysis.

About the Supply Chain Internship:

Support a fast-paced manufacturing environment by assisting with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management activities. The intern will gain hands‑on experience creating and maintaining production schedules for multiple manufacturing assets while balancing changing customer demand, production priorities, material availability, and capacity constraints.

Program structure:
  • Schedule: Part‑time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full‑time (40 hours/week) during the summer
  • Location: Milwaukee, WI

What we're looking for:
