Job summary

Insitu seeks an IT Support Technician to troubleshoot and repair hardware, software and AV gear, delivering excellent customer service. You will handle tickets, provide remote and onsite support, and maintain logs while learning Insitu systems.

Qualified applicants have an associate degree and 3 years’ related experience, with strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Hybrid on-site days are preferred for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Initial system configuration of computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
• Develops standard guidelines to be used for self-help and/or responding to customer requests.
• Respond to tickets in accordance with established guidelines.
• Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution.
• Respond in timely manner to requests and issues.
• Repair and replace equipment as needed.
• Provide onsite and remote support to end users.
• Elevates and coordinates out of scope technical issues.
• Assesses needs and recommends hardware or software to meet end user needs.
• Enters purchase requisitions as necessary.

Job description

Insitu has an immediate need for an IT Support Technician to support our team. This role's responsibilities will include: Troubleshoots, services, and repairs a wide variety of computer hardware, software, and AV equipment. Provides IT support to customers, responds to service requests, find fixes, workarounds and final solutions by troubleshooting issues while providing exemplary customer service. Maintains support logs and issue tracking, provides instructions to user on a wide variety of applications and equipment. Must be technically capable and a self-starter with strong organizational and customer service skills.

In-Office Requirement Statement: This position is eligible for hybrid work. It is our strong preference that this position is on-site a minimum of one week a quarter to allow for maximum collaboration and connection to the team and product. However, depending on the candidate's location, experience, and qualifications, we may have some flexibility in the frequency of on-site days.
