Job summary

Insitu, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Support Technician to troubleshoot, service and repair computers, software and AV equipment, and provide IT support to customers on site and remotely in Bingen, WA.

You will document issues, maintain logs, and follow established guidelines while collaborating with a team to resolve requests promptly. An associate degree and 3 years of related experience are required for this full-time on-site role.

• Associate degree in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
• Proven experience with Insitu systems.

Responsibilities

• Initial system configuration of computers, peripheral equipment, and software
• Develops standard guidelines to be used for self-help and/or responding to customer requests
• Respond to tickets in accordance with established guidelines
• Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution
• Respond in timely manner to requests and issues
• Repair and replace equipment as needed
• Provide onsite and remote support to end users
• Elevates and coordinates out of scope technical issues
• Assesses needs and recommends hardware or software to meet end user needs
• Enters purchase requisitions as necessary

As a Support Technician you will be responsible for troubleshooting, services, and repairs for a wide variety of computer hardware, software, and AV equipment. Provide IT support to customers, responds to service requests, find fixes, workarounds and final solutions by troubleshooting issues while providing exemplary customer service. Maintains support logs and issues tracking, provides instructions to user on a wide variety of applications and equipment. Must be technically capable and a self-starter with strong organizational and customer service skills.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

This role requires hands-on work on our products/collaboration with on-site teams, and will need to work onsite full-time in Bingen, WA.
