Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Odessa is seeking an IT Support Technician III to provide basic hardware and software support to departments, faculty, staff, and students. This role focuses on helping users resolve technical issues and maintain IT services under supervision.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT or related field plus three years of experience, or seven years of combined education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or related area plus three (3) years related full-time paid experience.
• OR a combination of related education and/or experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven (7) years.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to departments, faculty, staff, and students for basic hardware and some software.
• Collaborate with IT staff to meet department IT needs and follow ITOP and procedures.
