O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an IT Support Technician I to help end-users resolve hardware and software issues, troubleshoot problems, and identify solutions for IT equipment and applications.

The role emphasizes second-line support, data entry into systems, initial fault isolation, and following documented procedures with supervision. Strong knowledge of hardware, store systems, and ITIL foundations is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Ability to utilize power equipment in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to analyze basic computer problems with the intent to develop and implement logical and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line hardware, software, and end-user support as required and in line with documented procedures and service-level targets to support the business effectively.
• Conduct data entry into company systems, and file information using established procedures to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
• Support in providing initial fault isolation.
• Carry out simple installation tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
• Categorizing equipment into separate groups, processing equipment orders for shipping, following detailed procedures.
• Carry out simple maintenance and repair tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
• Carry out simple knowledge management tasks by following established procedures in order to support others.
• Work according to an assigned schedule.
