Job summary

Hire Energy Staffing is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems for our clients. The role includes assisting junior technicians, overseeing daily system performance, and supporting the rollout of new applications.

Candidates should have a degree in computer science/IT or related field, 3+ years of IT support experience, and certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer Science, IT or related field preferred with a minimum of three years plus of experience as IT support.
• Certification in CompTia A+ and CompTia Network+
• Oracle database SQL experience highly preferred.
• Basic experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Basic experience with in-network cabling, switches and routers.

Responsibilities

• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Assist Jr. IT Technicians as needed.
• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
• Provide support to users related to operational systems, applications and hardware.
• Support NPIs (New Products Introduction)
• Working on system troubleshooting
• Control the IT equipment inventory.
• Work with various departments on levels for project needs.
• Provide level one assistance for issues related with shop floor control systems.
