Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services is hiring an IT Field Technician to support hardware, network, and end-user technology needs across field operations. The role involves hands-on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices at job sites and offices.

You will configure network equipment, rack and cable server gear in the field, and handle tickets remotely and on-site.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on IT support or field technician experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to travel and stay on-site for extended periods (2–3 weeks for certain assignments).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices at sites and offices.
• Set up and maintain network equipment at field sites.
• Rack, stack, and cable server/network equipment in the field.
• Respond to and resolve IT tickets remotely and on-site.
• Image, configure, and deploy new equipment; maintain asset inventory.
