Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking an IT Support Technician to ensure continuity of computer system services and assist with software/hardware deployment across multiple offices. You will handle end-user support, hardware setup, and knowledge management while collaborating with the IT team on system rollouts and urgent issues.

The role requires 1+ year of IT support experience, familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Office 365, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of equivalent work experience in an IT support role or active enrollment in a relevant degree program.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and mobile devices.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 / 11 & Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming service desk requests from users via ticketing system, email, telephone, and in-person in a timely, courteous manner.
• Troubleshoot, install, and upgrade end-user software and hardware.
• Provide one-on-one end-user training on relevant topics and systems on an as-needed basis.
• Maintain and troubleshoot file sharing systems for use with external users and organizations.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding within the scope of assigned duties.
• Image, configure, and set up desktop and laptop computers and associated peripherals at employee workstations.
• Coordinate shipping and reclamation of computer hardware to and from remote offices.
• Maintain proper documentation and storage of deployed and available hardware assets.
• Maintain user-focused informational articles covering relevant technology topics.
• Maintain team-focused documentation on recurrent issues and known solutions.
• Provide guidance and training to other Information Technology team members when requested or required.
• Assist with company-wide software rollouts and technology upgrades.
• Provide on-site support at remote offices and outside of regular working hours as required.
