Job summary

Ovation Workplace Services Inc. in Purchase, NY is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide frontline IT support for end users at local and remote sites. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and enterprise applications, and maintain incident documentation to uphold SLAs.

The role requires strong communication, Windows 10/11 knowledge, and experience with Office 365. Some after-hours support and travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or a related field.
• 18+ months hands-on experience in a desktop support or IT help desk role.
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office 365.
• CompTIA A+ certification or MCP/Microsoft certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support for hardware, software, and application issues.
• Log, track, and maintain documentation for all reported incidents and service requests.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows OS and Office 365; support macOS basics.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for AV issues and other complex problems.
• Provide timely status updates to end users and stakeholders and meet SLAs.
