Job summary

ManpowerGroup is hiring an IT Support Specialist in McAllen, TX. The role provides first-level technical support to employees, handles account setup, password resets, and Active Directory tasks, and performs basic network troubleshooting. Strong IT fundamentals and 1 year of related experience are preferred; associate-level education is common.

Qualifications

• Associates in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Networking, Web Development, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, techanical training, certifications, and relevant experience
• 1 year in technical support, computer maintenance, web development, or related experience preferred
• Strong computer and internet skills
• Basic knowledge of PHP, MySol, HTML, and CSS
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees to document work through the trouble-ticket system
• Assist employees with account set up, password resets, permissions and routine Active Directory tasks under the direction of the Systems Administrator
• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including checking physical connections, IP configuration, wireless connectivity, switches and connected devices
• Other duties as assigned
