Job summary

Manpower, Inc. seeks an IT Support Specialist in McAllen, TX to provide level-1 technical support and document work through a ticket system.

You’ll assist with account setup, password resets, and Active Directory tasks under supervision, plus basic network troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has an IT-related associate degree or equivalent experience, 1 year in technical support, and solid PC/internet skills; PHP/HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates in IT, cybersecurity, computer networking, web development, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
• 1 year in technical support or related experience.
• Strong computer and internet skills.
• Basic knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees to document work through the trouble-ticket system.
• Assist employees with account setup, password resets, permissions and routine Active Directory tasks under the direction of the Systems Administrator.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including checking physical connections, IP configuration, wireless connectivity, switches and connected devices.

What’s Needed?

• Associates in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Networking, Web Development, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, techanical training, certifications, and relevant experience
• 1 year in technical support, computer maintenance, web development, or related experience preferred
• Strong computer and internet skills
• Basic knowledge of PHP, MySol, HTML, and CSS
• Valid driver's license
