Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software, and hardware on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, TS/SCI w/Poly clearance, and CompTIA Security+. You will respond to incidents, mentor newer staff, and support cloud infrastructure with remote access tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related IT support experience.
• Ability to diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Experience with remote access and desktop mirroring tools.
• US Citizenship required; TS/SCI w/Poly clearance as stated.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for network, desktop, and systems hardware/software.
• Respond to queries in person or over the phone and document incidents.
• Provide remote support and guidance to colleagues.
• Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure.
• Assist in mentoring less-experienced staff.
