Job summary

CD Peacock Jewelers in Oak Brook, IL is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide first-line technical support for employees and help ensure the reliable operation of the Company’s technology systems. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and device issues while delivering responsive customer service.

This onsite role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT help desk, desktop support, or related technical support experience.
• Associate/technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with SQL databases and mobile device support (iOS/Android) is preferred.
• Knowledge of remote-support and ticket-management tools; relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee technical support requests by phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and device issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and business software.
• Create, manage, and resolve support tickets per service expectations.
