Job summary

Europastry USA in New Jersey is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to ensure production, warehousing, and office IT systems run smoothly. The role covers on-site support, hardware/software troubleshooting, access control, network devices, security cameras, OT-IT integration, vendor negotiations, and asset management with travel to a second location about 20% of the time.

The position is primarily on-site in New Brunswick, NJ, with travel to the other location as needed.

Qualifications

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals used in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals used in manufacturing processes.
• Provide on-site technical support and resolve IT-related issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Manage and maintain access control systems, including key fobs and card readers, server, network equipment and printers.
• Support and troubleshoot industrial scanners used for inventory management and tracking.
• Oversee operation and basic maintenance of security camera systems.
• Integrate operational technologies with existing IT infrastructure and enforce network security practices.
• Research, evaluate, and negotiate service contracts with IT vendors for hardware, software, and support services.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLAs are met.
• Track and manage IT assets and licenses.
• Maintain documentation and warranty information within systems.
