Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods, headquartered in Vineland, NJ, is seeking a User Support Specialist to provide essential technical support across our locations. You will handle hardware, software, email, and network issues, image laptops for new hires, and assist with offboarding as needed.

The role requires 1 year of IT support or related exposure, familiarity with Windows and macOS, and knowledge of networks; ERP experience is a plus. A motivated, team-oriented candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 1 year of IT support or helpdesk experience or coursework/hands-on projects.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+ are a plus.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
• Proficiency troubleshooting on Windows and macOS and common applications.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP; ERP systems experience a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; self-motivated and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt technical assistance to employees for hardware, software, email, and networks.
• Configure equipment for new hires, including imaging and account provisioning.
• Assist with offboarding by collecting and processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot computer and peripheral issues; resolve hardware/software malfunctions.
• Provide user training and support on approved applications and systems.
• Install and configure printers; map shared network drives.
• Perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades on user devices.
• Assist with desk moves, including disconnecting and reconnecting workstations and peripherals.
