Job summary

North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is seeking an IT Specialist II to provide frontline technical support across applications, hardware, printers, RingCentral, VPN and basic network access. You will help with daily Help Desk issues and assist with special IT projects under supervision.

Ideal candidates have experience in Microsoft environments, Azure/Intune, AD/Exchange, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Two years college with coursework in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred; 2+ years IT support experience.
• Microsoft certifications preferred; nonprofit experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose Level I/II issues for laptops/desktops and Office apps.
• Research complex technical problems and escalate when needed.
• Prioritize tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop knowledge articles for users and team members.
• Support inventory applications and processes.
• Respond to security incidents and review logs.
• Provide basic support to Azure, Intune, AD and Exchange environments.
• Assist IT Operations with server-based tasks and printers.
• Learn new NLACRC technologies and train others.
• Participate in projects, testing, and post-implementation support.
