Job summary

NLACRC is seeking an IT Specialist II to provide frontline technical support in the SFV IT Technology department. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, RingCentral functionality, VPN access, and basic network issues with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities include assisting other IT functions on special projects, contributing knowledge articles, and supporting Azure, Intune, Active Directory, and Exchange environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent required.
• Two years college coursework in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred.
• Two years’ experience in a technical environment in a Level II role supporting a mid-market organization or large IT department; Microsoft Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and diagnoses Level I/II problems for laptop or desktop users, MS Office, Therefore (EDMS), AV conferencing, RingCentral, VPN, and email technologies.
• Research complex technical problems.
• Ensure notifications and status updates are accurate; follow procedures and update as necessary.
• Prioritize tickets per business needs and close in a timely manner.
• Develop knowledge articles for users and team members.
• Support the inventory application and processes.
• Respond to security incidents, review logs, and escalate suspicious activity.
• Provide basic support to Azure, Intune, AD, and Exchange environments; escalate to IT Operations as needed.
• Assist IT Operations with server-based tasks and printer management.
• Learn new technologies and train others accordingly.
• Participate in special projects, testing, and post-implementation support.
