Job summary

Vast in Long Beach, CA is seeking an IT Support Specialist to empower internal users with timely resolution of technical issues. You will be the first point of contact for staff, supporting laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, and coordinating with the Manager, IT to keep systems running smoothly.

This full-time, in-person role requires strong problem-solving, experience with Windows and MacOS, and exposure to ITSM tools.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in IT.
Proven experience with ITSM tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult technical issues with limited information.
Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
Maintains and supports enterprise resources, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones and other network enabled devices.
Monitor, respond and resolve incidents in an ITSM system while ensuring SLA performance metrics are met.
Strong troubleshooting of Windows 10/11 operating system.
Strong troubleshooting of MacOS.
Some understanding of Active Directory or LDAP.
Comfortable replacing hard drives, memory and other computer components.
Onboarding/ offboarding users.
Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
Provide support for multiple locations.
Installing, moving, equipment that may weigh up to 50 lbs
