Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of desktop/support/IT operations experience.
• Experience supporting Windows, Microsoft 365, user accounts, hardware, and network connectivity.
• Familiarity with Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience using an IT ticketing or service-management system.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in office, warehouse, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support.
• Install, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage lifecycle of ~200 workstations including imaging, deployment, inventory, and disposal.
• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and company apps.
• Administer Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID tasks (create accounts, MFA, password resets).
• Prepare equipment for new employees and recover access for departures.
• Diagnose basic network issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
• Support office and manufacturing tech (RF devices, industrial PCs, scanners, printers).
• Record incidents in ITSM, update status, document resolutions.
• Escalate issues to corporate IT teams (infrastructure, applications, security).
• Assist with server, file-share, backup, patch-management as assigned.
• Maintain inventory records of endpoints, peripherals, software, licenses.
• Create knowledge articles and procedures.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
• Participate in IT projects, deployments, and tech rollouts.
• Travel to other Hytrol facilities periodically for support.
• Follow cybersecurity, change-management, data-protection, and governance standards.
• Provide limited after-hours or emergency support when scheduled.
