Job summary

McCormick Stevenson, a subsidiary of Paligen Technologies, seeks an IT Support Specialist I in Clearwater, FL. You will serve as the frontline resource for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and application issues while upholding defense cybersecurity baselines.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management of IT equipment, identity and access administration, and supporting CAD/PLM tools used by our engineering teams. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or 0-3 years of hands-on desktop support / IT helpdesk experience.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11 operating systems and standard enterprise office applications (Microsoft 365)
• Fundamental understanding of networking concepts
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and account administration.
• Familiarity with engineering CAD/PLM applications (PTC Creo, Windchill, SolidWorks) is a strong plus.
• Citizenship & Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Frontline Technical Support: triage, document, and resolve helpdesk tickets, phone inquiries, and in-person requests for hardware, software, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
• Hardware Lifecycle Management: configure, provision, image, deploy, update, and securely decommission end-user hardware and devices.
• Identity & Access Administration: manage user accounts, groups, and permissions across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and on-prem AD; handle onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Network & Application Support: troubleshoot client-side network/Wi-Fi, assist with secure remote VPN access, support engineering design tools (PTC Creo, Windchill, SolidWorks).
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: maintain endpoint security per defense standards (NIST 800-171, CMMC), verify antivirus/EDR, BitLocker, patching.
