Job summary

McCormick Stevenson, a Paligen Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Senior Systems Administrator in Clearwater. You will architect and maintain hybrid IT, manage CAD/PLM tools, and enforce defense-grade cybersecurity compliance.

Role requires Windows Server/AD expertise, Intune endpoint management, and scripting for automation. You will lead modernization efforts and mentor junior staff in a demanding, security-focused environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree and 5–8+ years of progressive IT/infrastructure experience.
Deep expertise in Windows Server, AD, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft 365.
Experience managing enterprise endpoints with Intune.
Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Experience with CAD/PLM applications and license servers (PTC Windchill, Creo, SolidWorks).
Networking background including firewalls, VLANs, IPsec VPNs, and secure site-to-site connections.
In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-171, CMMC 2.0, DFARS clauses, and CUI protection.
Preferred certifications: CISSP, Security+, Azure Admin, and CCNA/CCNP.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance if required.

Responsibilities

Architect, administer, and optimize hybrid enterprise infrastructure and cloud services (M365, Azure).
Lead endpoint management and automation to deploy OS, patches, and security baselines.
Administer CAD/PLM software environment (Windchill, Creo, SolidWorks) and license servers.
Design, implement, monitor, and audit security controls for compliance with defense standards.
Manage core network infrastructure and mentor junior IT staff.
