Job summary

Jobot is seeking an IT Support Specialist who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and collaborating in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Portage, Michigan. You will be the first point of contact, troubleshoot issues, and support day-to-day IT operations across multiple company locations.

The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, eager to grow technically, and will work closely with senior IT leadership to deliver high-quality support and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Help Desk or IT Support experience preferred.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory.
• Experience using Help Desk or ticketing software.
• Knowledge of printer support and hardware troubleshooting.
• Exposure to networking, VPNs, or Wi-Fi is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests.
• Manage and resolve Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.
• Configure and deploy new computers, software, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Support Active Directory user administration.
• Assist with antivirus management and system patching.
• Utilize remote support tools to assist users across multiple locations.
• Support printers, scanners, copiers, networking, and mobile devices.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation.
• Assist with infrastructure and technology improvement projects.
• Train users on basic technology functions.
• Participate in continuing education to remain current on emerging technologies.
