Job summary

Community High School District 218 in Oak Lawn, Illinois seeks a Technical Associate to provide first-line technical support, install and maintain computing devices, and coordinate with the Building Network Specialist. Responsibilities

Resolve basic system, printing and minor networking problems.
Coordinate activities with the Building Network Specialist.
First line of support for technical problems.
Report all technical issues to the Building Network Specialist.
Installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computing devices, peripheral equipment within established standards and guidelines.
Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with software and computer equipment.
Work with Network Operations staff (as appropriate) to determine and resolve problems received from clients.
Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software.
Recommend and perform upgrades on systems to ensure longevity.
Order supplies for computer and printer repairs.
Installation and maintenance of security camera systems.
Installation and maintenance of projection system.
Pull CAT5 & Coax cable.
Troubleshoot Audio and Visual presentations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
