Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an IT Helpdesk professional to provide internal employee support for company hardware, software, and systems. You will handle tickets, diagnose issues, install and maintain devices, and ensure reliable network access for on-site and remote users.

The role requires strong Windows experience, AD/Office 365 proficiency, and customer-focused communication. A bachelor’s degree is preferred along with 3+ years of relevant support experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer/software troubleshooting and Windows OS experience.
• Advanced experience with Active Directory, Office 365 administration, Office 365 application suite, Windows 10/11 OS.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and hardware.
• PowerShell syntax and commands preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years relevant support experience
• Customer service oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to work with various organizational levels and manage time efficiently

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for company’s computer environment and corporate network, including hardware, Microsoft Office Suite, and business apps.
• Log and track IT support requests using the IT ticketing system.
• Open/close service requests; classify, assign, track, and complete requests.
• Maintain in-house computer systems, diagnose, upgrade, repair, install hardware; ensure top performance.
• Deliver outstanding customer support and clear communication with network users and other service areas.
• Foster positive relationships with employees and understand user needs.
• Schedule equipment and services; arrange shipments to remote sites as needed.
• Coordinate with network services.
