Job summary

T. Baker Smith, LLC. is seeking an IT Support Lead to strengthen support for engineering, surveying, and environmental teams. Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you’ll merge hands-on troubleshooting with daily service coordination and technical coaching.

You will lead on difficult workstation and CAD-related issues, coordinate with the technology team and vendors, and mentor teammates toward faster resolutions and better service reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support experience with incident management.
• Ability to explain technical problems clearly and coach teammates.
• Experience supporting CAD-intensive environments is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate priorities, workload, and coverage to keep queue moving.
• Lead on difficult workstation and application problems including CAD-related issues.
• Coach teammates to improve troubleshooting skills and confidence.
• Document fixes and practical improvements for recurring problems.
• Coordinate with internal tech teams and vendors with clear communication.
