Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technology support across our organization. You will support employees with daily tech needs, set up technology for new hires, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure access and tools are available for success.

The role involves travel throughout Michigan to support technology setup at multiple locations and offices, with a focus on Windows, Office, and business applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or similar.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Experience supporting Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and similar business software.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and peripheral equipment.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting computers, monitors, phones, printers, and other technology.
• Experience with user account setup, email configuration, software installation, and access management.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
• Willingness to travel throughout Michigan and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up computers, monitors, phones, printers, and other equipment for new employees and locations.
• Create/configure employee email accounts and technology access.
• Configure user accounts, permissions, and required software.
• Provide both in-person and remote IT support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and printing issues.
• Document issues and solutions for future reference.
• Assist with technology deployment and refreshes across offices.
