Job summary

Sonos, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join Global IT Operations in Goleta, CA. This office-based role supports hardware, collaboration tools, network infrastructure, and AV/VC equipment for employees worldwide, including executive leadership.

You’ll handle Tier 1–2 tickets, onboard/offboard users, manage devices, and contribute to knowledge base materials. Willingness to work non-standard hours and travel 10% are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise IT support or technical support engineering.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android environments.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and Wi-Fi technologies.
• Experience using Okta, Atlassian tools, Slack, Google Workspace, and Microsoft platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the IT support queue in Jira Service Management for incoming Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues across laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices; image laptops for deployment; decommission deprecated equipment; install software.
• Provide admin-level support within core collaboration tools — Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom; configure in Okta and AD.
• Prioritize and respond to incidents, outages, and service requests; escalate to senior engineers when needed.
• Support new hire onboarding and offboarding, including desk setups, account provisioning, licensing, and access management.
• Maintain conference room and AV/VC equipment; perform preventative maintenance and hardware/software upgrades.
