Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join a rapidly growing technology organization supporting AI infrastructure and cloud computing. You will serve as a primary contact for employee technical issues, troubleshoot endpoints, identity management systems, and productivity platforms in a hybrid San Francisco/San Jose environment.

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in Help Desk, IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk or Technical Support roles.
Experience resolving Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets in a corporate or enterprise environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, Linux and common end-user applications.
Experience supporting hardware including laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices.
Ability to document incidents, resolutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve Tier 1 support requests involving hardware, software, access, and productivity tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 technical issues escalated from standard support queues.
Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, password resets, and access requests.
Support laptops, mobile devices, conference room technology, and peripheral equipment.
Document incidents, maintain knowledge base articles, and update support procedures.
Assist with onboarding, offboarding, device deployment, and asset tracking processes.
Escalate complex infrastructure or engineering issues to appropriate teams and follow through to resolution.
