Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join a rapidly growing tech organization supporting AI infrastructure and cloud operations. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco or San Jose, CA with four days onsite and one day remote.

You will handle Tier 1–2 end-user support, manage endpoints and SaaS apps, document resolutions, and help scale support processes. Conversion to full-time is possible after 2–4 months based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Help Desk, IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk, or Technical Support roles.
• Experience resolving Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tickets in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux, and end‑user apps.
• Experience supporting hardware including laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices.
• Ability to document incidents, resolutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user support for hardware, software, access, and productivity tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues and tickets from standard queues.
• Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and password resets.
• Support laptops, mobile devices, conference room tech, and peripherals.
• Document incidents and maintain knowledge base articles; assist with onboarding and asset tracking.
