Job summary

Brose North America Inc invites a motivated student to join our New Boston, Michigan location as an IT support intern. You will provide first-line assistance for hardware, software, and connectivity issues; install and support end-user devices; and help maintain asset inventories while learning Windows OS upgrades and network basics.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with about two years left before graduation.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS, IS or related field.
Approximately two years remaining before graduation preferred.
Basic networking knowledge and connectivity troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level IT support to end users for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
Install, configure and support end-user devices including PCs, mobile devices and printers.
Support IT requests and incidents within the Service Catalog.
Assist with basic network troubleshooting and device management.
Maintain IT asset inventory records and update documentation.
Troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary.
Support hardware deployments and OS upgrades.
Gain exposure to network, VLAN segmentation and plant IT infra.
