Brose in New Boston, Michigan is seeking a student to join our IT team as an entry-level support technician. You will provide front-line IT support for hardware, software, Office 365, mobile devices, and connectivity issues, and assist with device provisioning and asset management.

You will gain hands-on exposure to network basics, OS upgrades, and IT documentation while collaborating with a team in a modern working environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor39;s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or a related field.
• Approx. two years remaining before graduation preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-level IT support to end users for hardware, software, MS Office 365, mobile devices and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and support end-user devices including PCs, smartphones, tablets and printers.
• Support users with IT-related requests and incidents within the Brose Service Catalog.
• Assist with basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records using BITS and update IT documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed, support hardware deployment and OS upgrades.
• Gain exposure to network/VLAN segmentation and plant IT infrastructure; support Windows 11 migration and end-user device upgrades.
