Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an IT Technician Intern to support the desktop and customer IT environment in Arden, NC. The role involves assisting with high-level meeting support, root-cause analysis, and on-site IT services across business systems teams.

The intern will help configure devices, install applications, manage licenses, and support printer and network services while learning from experienced IT staff in a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong customer focus and service delivery.
• Proactivity for tracking and connecting people.
• Ability to engage with outside vendors or partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain good relationships with staff and IT infrastructure teams.
• Track service delivery tickets and connect plant personnel with Central IT.
• Ensure SLA-compliant service delivery across locations.
• Configure devices and manage desktop/laptop deployments per standards.
• Provide basic network, security and printing support; escalate as needed.
