Job summary

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in IT, 2 years of IT support experience, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Some early hours may be required for updates from Germany.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field required.
• 2 years of IT support or help desk experience required.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Flexible schedule occasionally for updates from Germany or emergencies (less than 10%).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests through phone and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and basic network issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Assist employees with password resets, multi-factor authentication, and access requests.
• Configure and deploy computers, laptops, and mobile devices while ensuring compliance with applicable security and regulatory requirements.
• Provide first-level support for business applications including PSI Penta, Remberg, and Allex.ai.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT resources and vendors.
• Document incidents, requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and equipment records.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support software installation, patching, and routine maintenance activities.
• Prioritize workload to address urgent cases and then address other requests within 24 hours.
• Build and maintain a strong partnership with Corporate IT, fostering a "one-team" culture across locations.
• Support the company’s strategic goals and values.
