Job summary

General Matter is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to support our engineering-driven operations in a fast-paced environment. You will own end-user issue resolution, manage devices through Intune, and administer Azure/Entra ID authentication across the organization.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to keep CAD, CAM, and CFD tools running, while improving onboarding, asset management, and ITSM processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a helpdesk, desktop, or IT support role with senior responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with Intune, Azure/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments and endpoint management.
• Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing systems (CAD/CAM/CFD).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows and Linux users across engineering and business operations.
• Administer Microsoft Intune for device configuration, patching, and security.
• Manage Azure/Entra ID identities, MFA, and conditional access policies.
• Support and troubleshoot CAD, CAM, CFD tools and related engineering software.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, asset management, and lifecycle provisioning.
• Contribute to ITSM workflows for incidents, requests, and changes.
