Job summary

Amazon’s OpsTech IT is looking for self-motivated IT Support Associate II to assist the operations team in resolving technical problems across a range of disciplines inside an Amazon Operations facility. You will help keep systems running and contribute to first-line support for staff.

This role includes hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting, training new hires, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems support.
• Ability to move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 10–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Allocation, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities
• Handles support requests across the network
• Assist in training new hires
• Continuous learning of new technologies
• Ability to support customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers
