Job summary
Amazon’s Ops Tech Solutions in Salt Lake City is seeking an IT Support Associate II to assist the operations team by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across facilities. You will handle IT equipment, support requests, and travel within the local region.
This role emphasizes customer service in a dynamic environment, with opportunities to train new hires, learn new technologies, and grow within Amazon’s IT organization. Starting pay is hourly, with benefits and a casual dress code.
Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
- 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems support experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware, AWS, or related certifications.
Responsibilities
- Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
- Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
- Assisting in training new hires.
- Continuous learning of new technologies.
- Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
- Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
